Two weeks… Two development milestones.
Following last week’s DA approval for Solstice, Parramatta by the Sydney West Central Planning Panel, Dyldam has achieved another milestone this week with Gateway Approval for 360 Windsor Road, Baulkham Hills from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.
Dyldam purchased the Hills Shire landmark, site of the Bull n Bush Hotel, in 2015. The company spent two years developing a planning proposal for a vibrant mixed use development on the 9,250m2 site in collaboration with Mako Architects.
Dyldam’s new development will create a “Town Centre” energy with a mix of residential, retail and civic uses. Baulkham Hills residents will enjoy 2,500m2 of amenity comprising of a new Library and a Community Centre. Three residential buildings of 8-15 storeys will accommodate 200 homes whilst 4890m2 of retail and commercial space will provide modern convenience.
The Bull n Bush Hotel will receive a long anticipated make-over. The major upgrade of the Bull n Bush will create a family-friendly leisure environment for the community including residents of Modena (Dyldam’s adjacent development on 2 Seven Hills Road).
Dyldam has previous experience in sensitively bringing landmark Sydney hotels into this millennia – having refurbished such iconic hotels as The Cat and Fiddle and The Riverview hotels in Balmain along with Crown on McCredie hotel in Guildford.
